  • I have achieved the honor of obtaining National Board Certification, which requires satisfying the highest teaching standards in the profession.
  • I have been honored with the Mathematics Elementary Teacher of the Year Award- Nassau County (NCTM).
  • I have been chosen as the Teacher of the Year in the Superintendent's Honor Roll.
  • I have been featured in numerous articles in various newspapers, (such as the metropolitan newspaper, Newsday), professional journals and television broadcasts regarding my work in areas of Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Social Studies.
  • I have worked successfully with children to promote their love for learning.
  • I have mentored teachers for their ongoing professional development.
  • I have conducted parent and faculty workshops which served as a model for further parent and faculty education workshops.
